2. Onboarding Flow - Spark Plan (New Companies)

The Spark Plan onboarding flow is designed for users who need to incorporate a new business. It includes approximately 18 steps to collect all necessary information for incorporation.

Hub416 - Spark Plan Onboarding Step 1 of 18

Select Location

Choose where you would like to incorporate your business:

Federal Corporation

Canada-wide incorporation

Ontario Corporation

Ontario-specific incorporation

British Columbia

BC-specific incorporation

Other Province

Select from other provinces

Federal corporations can do business across Canada, but may require extra-provincial registration in provinces where they operate.

Stage 2: Location selection for Spark Plan
Hub416 - Spark Plan Onboarding Step 2 of 18

Business Structure

Select the legal structure for your business:

Corporation

A separate legal entity from its owners

Partnership Coming Soon

Business owned by two or more people

Sole Proprietorship Coming Soon

Business owned by a single person

The Hub416 Spark Plan currently supports incorporation services only. Partnership and Sole Proprietorship options will be available in the future.

Step 3: Business structure selection for Spark Plan
Hub416 - Spark Plan Onboarding Step 3 of 18

Corporation Name

Choose between a named or numbered corporation:

Named Corporation

Choose a specific name for your company.

A name search fee applies. We'll check if this name is available.

Numbered Corporation

Get a government-assigned number (e.g., 12345678 Canada Inc.).

No name search required. Faster and less expensive.

Step 4: Corporation name selection for Spark Plan

Additional Spark Plan onboarding slides (5-18) follow the same pattern, collecting information about:

  • Founder details (names, addresses, roles)
  • Director information
  • Officer titles
  • Share classes and allocation
  • Registered office address
  • Fiscal year-end
  • Banking resolution
  • Additional filings
  • Final review

3. Onboarding Flow - Scale Plan (Existing Companies)

The Scale Plan onboarding flow is designed for users with existing companies. It's shorter than the Spark Plan flow, with fewer steps focused on company information and health check.

Company Health Check

Help us understand your company's current legal status:

Have all your company shares been properly issued?

Has a President been formally appointed?

Are your annual resolutions up to date?

Do you have a shareholder agreement in place?

Based on your responses, we recommend the Scale Plan to help address compliance gaps and establish proper legal documentation.

Both Spark and Scale plan users converge at this point to create their account before continuing with the onboarding process.
